  Amritsar (Punjab): A record for publishing maximum number of articles on dermatology in globally acclaimed journals is set by Dr Avneet Singh Kalsi (born on December 19, 1992), a Dermatologist from Amritsar , Punjab . He published eight articles in reputed journals including Dovepress, MedCrave between December 2017 to June 2020, as confirmed on September 16, 2020. The achievement has been recognized by India Book of Record. Talking about his record, Dr Kalsi said, “ During my internship, I noticed many patients with dermatophytic infection visiting our Dermatology OPD everyday and their lesions were so atypical and extensive, that I started thinking about the cause.
