Alex Outhwaite shortlisted for 'Vlogger of the Year Award' 2020

 

Renowned Travel TV Presenter Alex Outhwaite has been shortlisted for the prestigious Vlogger of the Year Award by the 'Visit USA_UK Media Awards' 2020 for her video in St. Petersburg, FL. Alex is also taking part as the special guest in the 14th edition of the popular #BloggersAllianceChat - India's First Weekly Twitter Chat Series Born Amid Lockdown, on 21st June, 2020 (Sunday) at 6 PM to 7 PM (IST) via @BlogIndiaBlog handle.

Alex Outhwaite, known for her work on Travelxp - a worldwide Travel TV satellite channel. Her show Off The Grid has taken her to many destinations lesser-visited by foreign travellers including Kashmir. Ladakh and Uzbekistan.

Alex has built up over 1,40,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, where she creates videos about food and travel, including viral videos with over 1 million views from El Salvador. Alex was nominated for 'Vlogger of the Year' in 2019 at the Sit Up Media Awards in London and is a regularly requested Speaker at tourism events worldwide.

Alex said, "I am happy to be part of this unique twitter chat series of Bloggers Alliance. I will talk about 'travel blogging during COVID-19 and Lockdown'. As 21st June is celebrated as International Yoga Day, therefore, I will also share my thoughts on yoga and wellness."

The #BloggerChat, an initiative of Bloggers Alliance, completed 13 successful editions recently, and was started by Brand Consultant Narvijay Yadav on 22nd March, 2020, the day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi imposed Janata Curfew in view of the COVID-19 spread. Meanwhile, Chandigarh and Punjab region was already under lockdown. Hence, the chat got recognition as India's First Twitter Chat Born Amid Lockdown.
